Hello Spring!  Here a piece from Artist Jack Milroy I wanted to share..( Yes, another London find. ) Milroy, born in Glasgow 1938 trained in England at the Scarborugh School of Art and the University of London where he lives and teaches ever since.

Milroy is the master of modern collages. He prefers to work with ready-mades-with things that already exist as man-made objects, such as papers and books. Then he sets about cutting and tearing-so in the end the objects in their radically transformed state still contain legible traces of the original source. He then encases these large fragile paper sculptures in large plexi boxes. See, the birds are free again! Or at least  they peak and peck off the pages… More about Milroy at artfirst.co.uk. ENJOY!
